Artist History
To Alex music is more than just singing, he lives a life of true worship that comes from the heart and reaches unto the throne of grace. Alex is not just a singer; he is also a minister of the word. Alex believes that through worship someone can touch the depth of God’s heart drawing out the help, comfort, confident, peace, love etc that person needs in times of need. He believes strongly that through worship to God the human spirit can and will receive insight into the plans and will of God for ones life. True Worship, he also says remains the best way to unburden the human spirit. It’s a mode of prayer, coming from a sincere heart to a loving God.
In recent times the Lord has enlarged Alex’s ministry to organizing and holding crusades and concerts across the United States and in Africa. His greatest desire is to see the whole world declare for Jesus. His happiness is embedded in true worship to our Lord. Alex is unique in his own ways. He is a true disciple of Jesus. He believes in what the Lord requires of him. He dares to be a “Daniel” in all circumstances.
Alex started a band, three years ago called African Gospel Band which is based in Louisiana USA and an evangelism outreach in Nigeria known as Mustard Seed ten years ago.
Alex’s style of gospel music is purely African with roots in Nigeria. He’s been into music for twenty years, and involved with gospel music for sixteen years. He is an inspirational gospel minister. He is gifted as he draws his inspiration from the Holy Spirit who enables him compose his own songs.
His first work was titled “Jesus is coming” it’s an eleven track album with songs like “Touch me with your hands” which talks about the yearning of the heart to experience the touch of God, “Follow me to the new Testament”- is an invitation for salvation, When papa Bless me, Come Holy Spirit come, Melody in my Heart, Jesus I love you and a lot more.
Watch out for Alex’s next CD titled Lazarus Come Forth. This is a very powerful piece. It is purely African praise. The first track Lazarus come forth is a wonderful message of deliverance. It’s a must have in every home. Once you listen to the first track you are hooked!
One could describe Alex’s life as one huge success. The road was tough and rough but the Lord promised victory to all that believes in him. “Though the night be dark joy comes in the morning. To say the least the morning of Alex’s life started the day he met with the Lord. The story is different. This is all Alex lives for; to tell the world about the love of God through his music. Alex has a big dream in gospel music, which will be made visible in some years to come.
Presently, his home is in Louisiana. He holds a graduate degree in Religious studies and currently running a master’s program in Mental Health at Southern University Louisiana.
