HOW DOES IT WORK?
Ancient tradition tells us that God created the Hebrew letters and assigned each one a musical vibration. Now thanks to a Hebrew scholar who wrote a software program we can assign the notes to each letter and 'play' the Bible verses. First we choose a verse or verse's then we write the Melody line using the notes that belong to the Hebrew letters in the order they are spoken in the text! It is Magical. It is music that God locked into the fabric of the Hebrew letters at the time of Creation!!!
Each odd numbered track is an audio reading of the Hebrew text that was used to create he song that follows. Even though you may not understand spoken Hebrew it is offered here to help you create within yourself a feeling of this music, which is taken precisely from the Hebrew letters. CAN I HEAR SAMPLES? OF COURSE you can hear samples on this page just look to the left. This music will sound much like music you have heard before but keep in mind the Melody line is the Biblical Hebrew being repeated over and over during the songs and this is where the benefit is coming from.
However as much as I love cd baby the samples on this site are not good quality! On the site musicfromthecreator.com I have chosen samples of highlights and because they are shorter samples they are better quality but nothing you will hear as a download or a sample will come even close to the quality of sound on the Cd's themselves.
That is why even though this music is available as a download at iTunes, Napster and all the major places even here at cdbaby we recommend for your own sake you purchase the actual CD because of the quality of sound and the insert has important info. in it to help you understand how this music can help you.
I spared no expense making sure the quality of sound on the Cd's is as perfect as possible and the best studios and people were hired to mix and EQ each song.

I have become weary of people referring to this music as 'religious' when in fact the idea in making this music was to help people see it doesn't matter how you personally choose to worship this music works for all people. There is only ONE Creator for us all and HE is the one that Created this Music!!! Religion is man made this is Divinely Created!!!
It is music created to help people find peace and wholeness in their lives. Read and think about the verses being played and then listen, relax and allow yourself to be healed. Within these songs you will hear many different styles of music. Also each CD has one or more tracks dedicated to rest and Meditation.

"The problem is we are the first to create really dynamic music from This Ancient Tradition and we don't know how deep this music will go.! HOW DO THE HEBREW LETTERS MAKE THIS MUSIC SPECIAL???
This forum does not allow me to say all I would like about Hebrew but following are a few ideas I have learned while creating this music and studying Hebrew. Some of these ideas are common knowledge and others no one can prove or disprove. Many of these ideas have come down to us from ancient sages who made their life's work the study of Hebrew and each individual letter.
Ancient tradition tells us that God created the Hebrew letters and then used them to create the Universe! At the time HE created the letters HE assigned each one a musical vibration. What we have done is take verses from the text and then write the Melody line strictly following the notes from the text. It is in effect music that has existed since the beginning of time and space that Asiyah has released from it's hiding place in the text. We followed strict guidelines and everyone involved or touched by this music says the same thing "it is magical".
The Hebrew language can be compared to the Mandelbrot Set in fractal geometry in that it has seemingly infinite possible ideas and formulas hidden within. The system of 'root' words and their meanings are structured in such a way they can also be compared to the Periodic Table of Elements in Chemistry with words that have existed since the beginning of time just waiting for the object or idea they describe to be discovered!
Unlike any other language of simple "agreements" the Hebrew is not just the sound we have 'agreed' to make to describe the thing, instead it describes what the essence of the thing 'IS' and the word existed before the thing!!! i.e.: computer is a modern invention certainly not mentioned in the Bible yet when it was invented a simple formula in Hebrew was used to create the Hebrew word for computer which means "that which thinks for you"!!! Adam used it to describe the animals in The Garden of Eden with the same result. It actually describes the "essence" of the thing. There exist within the Hebrew thousands of words describing what will come in the future. In fact some ancient sages have said that within the Hebrew words that God gave to Moses (The Five Books of Moses) exists all that ever was or ever will be…and if you know how to look you can find your own name!
There exist more possible word combinations using the Hebrew alphabet and the formulas than any other language including English. It is a Mystical language and alphabet with a Mystical past. You could study Hebrew for the rest of your life and only scratch the surface.!! Some say that when God gave Moses the Five Books there were no spaces and we for sure know there were no vowels........ Some say that the long string of letters containing what we now call the 'Five Books' was 'Five Words' Or the original formula for the Creation of The Universe.? We may never know for sure but one thing we do know is that Hebrew is a Divine Communication Directly From our Creator.!

 “Music From the Creator” by Asiyah is an incredible two CD set of spiritual songs and verses that spans a variety of genres. What makes this album incredible is the amount of thought that went into it. Asiyah takes the ancient notion that God gave each Hebrew letter a musical vibration, uses the Hebrew text of Biblical verses to create a letter-by-letter song notation, and adapts them instrumentally to fit contemporary music genres, including Latin, rock, reggae, jazz, blues, ambient, and classical. The odd numbered tracks on the album are spoken word and recite the Biblical verse in Hebrew, and Psalms in song form. The even tracks that follow take the letter-by-letter notation and make an original and enjoyable song out of it. The recording quality is great, clean and polished, so that the spoken word tracks could be completely understood by a Hebrew linguist. “From the Dust” brings Genesis 2:7-8 to life with a great reggae sound, including the steel drum and a nice arrangement. “Lifted Up” has a great Latin rock flare with the use of shakers, marimba and electric guitar following the notes of Isaiah 6:1. “Shall Come to Pass” is an excellent standard jazz adaptation of Isaiah 4:3, with great jazz piano, solo guitar, and rhythmic drums. “Music From the Creator” is certainly an in-your-face spiritual experience, but its method and the sheer enjoyability of the songs the selected verses help create has an appeal to both the secular and non-secular world.
