Hero quests for transcendence. Time passes.
Hero believes in magical, mystical woman. Woman takes advantage. Hero's heart is hardened.
Hero believes in the future of mankind. Mankind disappoints. Hero's mind is darkened.
Hero believes in art. Art isolates.
Pop-rock-emo influenced by Roger Waters, Blind Melon and the humble and savage Bavarian village disco scene. Formative musical experiences: dating a hare krishna; navigating the Bavarian music scene as frontman in a German cover band; endless hours making home demos with all the wrong equipment.
Born and raised in Victoria, BC, Bergbusch's first rock 'n roll hero was Roger Waters of Pink Floyd. At seventeen he went on an exchange to Germany and formed a rock band with German students who became close friends. They did a handful of shows covering Bad Religion, U2, Leonard Cohen, and others.
Returning to BC, Bergbusch pursued higher learning believing he would find certainty of action for good. He was disappointed to learn it is a little more complicated than that. Ultimately, all of postmodernism sucked away his lifeforce. His spirit cried out for the absolute. The perfection of the imagination embodied in music. Bergbusch has learned to let go of his fear and to challenge and manifest the critical self-defining nature of the music at the core of his being.

Bergbusch releases an exceptional album, “ImpossibleBeautiful,” that is embedded with stirring songs of interesting Pop/Rock music. This group creates a sound of its own as they incorporate well crafted melodies with well balanced instruments. The free flowing song, “I Was Going To Save the World,” is charming as the guitar and violin cascade around the emotive vocals and gives way to a nice, crisp and clean texture. You will like the rich violin riffs that swirl around the vocals on the song, “I Belong” Vibrant and magnetic, “Fool’s Paradise,” is another song that is tied together with thought provoking vocals and relaxed instrumentation. If you like Pop/Rock music that is fresh and creative, then you will really appreciate the excellent collection of songs on the terrific album, “ImpossibleBeautiful.”
