Before making his own records, Craig worked and performed on other artists' recordings but mostly made his living doing radio & television commercials, some of which were released as records (one of them resulted in a Billboard Hot Country 100 single "I Believe He's Gonna Drive That Rig To Glory" done for White Freightliners). You may have heard his voice or work in connection with AT&T, Coors, Denver Nuggets, Frontier Airlines, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and hundreds of others. Craig's writing, producing and arranging can be found as far away as Australia, Belgium and Russia.

RadioIndy is pleased to present Craig Donaldson with a GrIndie Award for the CD "Hang in the Balance"
Well rounded and talented artist, Craig Donaldson, performs wonderful adult pop/soft rock songs on his newest disc “Hang in the Balance.” With a line up of musical accolades to his credentials, Donaldson really knows every aspect of writing and performing. His memorable vocals are soft and serene which complements the melodic lyrics. Feel a touch of country on songs such as “Colorado Ride” and “My Heart’s In The Right Place” with the predominantly sweet steel guitar licks. Sultry sax and guitar solo gives “That Would Be Me” a classic, soft rock flavor. A beautiful rendition of the timeless classic “Moon River,” featuring stunning strings, has Donaldson impressing the audience with his own sweet, vocal style. This album, “Hang in the Balance” is a must have addition to your soft rock collection especially if you like Dan Fogelberg or Stephen Bishop. -Diane and the RadioIndy.com reviewer team |
