DIALETO is an Art-Rock / Prog-rock band formed in Brazil in 1987 by Nelson Coelho on guitar and vocals, Andrei Ivanovic on fretless bass and Miguel Angel on drums and backing vocals. Dialeto’s music has a wide range of influences coming from progressive rock, hard rock, fusion, jazz, eastern folk and even contemporary music with a special interest in unusual harmonies, melodies and rhythms and a great taste for jamming and improvising. Names like King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Mahavishnu Orchestra has usually been remembered by reviewers to connect Dialeto’s music to the great masters music. After the release of the first album “Will Exist Forever” in 2008, recovering the songs from the 90’s, the band has returned to stage and studio and is now releasing the album “Chromatic Freedom” with exciting new compositions. As the album’s name may suggest, the band explore the twelve note scale, known as chromatic scale, in the realm of modal music. This way, when improvising, every note is possible and the musician is totally free to follow his intuition, developing melodies driven only by expressiveness and emotion. This concept, derived from Bela Bartok's music and adapted to rock instrumentation and attitude, can be heard in songs such as: "Chromatic Freedom", "Dialeto". "We Got it All", "Esta no Ar", "Falsa Valsa", "Train of Destruction" and "Divided by Zero". Musicians: Nelson Coelho : guitar & vocal Andrei Ivanovic : fretless bass Miguel Angel : drums & backing vocals
