Dizzy Ritzy is a multifaceted artist: he sings, he writes songs and novels and plays guitar. His musical genre is rock blues with several contaminations: since folk to American hard rock.. The best definition for his music is “Astral Blues” (Hendrix style).

His artistic career began in 1977 in Borgolavezzaro (Novara, Italy), his small hometown, when he wrote a song for the first time, and won a young talent contest.

So he devoted himself to music; bands like Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin inspired him. In the first 80’s he learnt to play guitar by himself and started live shows. In 1983 he “discovered” Jimi Hendrix music and since then Hendrix has always been his most important reference model. Dizzy played with several bands, important were: “Les Maudit” (1992/1994) and then “Oltre”; with this band he played at a festival dedicated to Woodstock. He studied keyboards and harmony and in 2002 he became a solo artist and in late 2007 started the collaboration with After Life Music Dimension, which is his label now.

In 2008 he played as solo artist at Galliate Master Guitar.

In his career he recorded many self-produced albums, with After Life he recorded a demo, vocal and guitar, called “Scarpe Diem” (title is an Italian/Latin play on words) and since Sempember 2009 his concept album “Real Tapes”, has been available all over the world.

Now he’s working to arrangements for live promotion of “Real tapes” and to a 70’s rock cover project.
