I had no specific ideas about what the music sounded like when I made and released the album but a few ideas that independent reviewers have come up with are The Psychedelic Furs, Nothing Rhymes With Orange, The Smithereens, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Cure, Daughtry, Midnight Oil, David Bowie and INXS.
