I play both electric guitar and keyboard riffs in this song's interludes.  The odd-sounding stringed instrument is synthesized Irish Bouzouki (so I'm really playing a keyboard for these riffs).

One word (wh_ore) was censored in the lyrics to this song, so I have marked the song as containing explicit lyrics that might be offensive.  However, I do NOT believe that the lyrics are offensive.  This love song was inspired by recalling the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.  When Eurydice died, Orpheus pursued her to the underworld. Orpheus was one of the great musicians of antiquity and thought to have invented the lyre.  He used his musical abilities to evoke sadness and soften the heart of Hades, who let Eurydice leave the underworld (but the myth ends sadly).
