The wonderful Folk CD, “Courage,” by singer/songwriter Si Kahn is a collection of insightful acoustic songs that will move your heart and soul. Kahn spins a marvelous set of 16 tracks as he shares his political point of views with polished style and versatility. His voice is sincere while his narratives have heartfelt values. He adds flavors of Celtic persuasion to songs such as, “Molly Maguire” and “Ireland of My Dreams.” The fun and lively song, “On This Old Farm,” beams with Country style as the melodic lyrics gives an in depth look into the life of a farmer and also features some great harmonies. Listen, as the earnest lyrics on “Hunter,” interacts with the banjo that gently plucks away. You will like the songs on the Folk album, “Courage,” as they are performed with expressive lyrics, finely tuned vocals, and acoustic instrumentation.
