Steve Adams

Steve Adams has worked extensively as a singer, songwriter and acoustic guitarist on the UK folk club/college circuit and in various rock bands as a keyboard player. In 1977 he won first prize at the Melody Maker's National Folk/Rock Contest (soloist section). 

For most of the early 80s he ran his own recording studio, recording such artists as Julian Cope and Vitthal Rao. 

His unique styles of writing and guitar-playing have won him many accolades, e.g. "Great song writing talent" (Melody Maker), "Humorous yet poignant" (Maddy Prior).
He has released two CD albums (available from his website and also as downloads from iTunes etc), "Busker at the Pearly Gates" (1999, remastered 2012) and "The Big Fight" (2011)
