Taken from the selftitled Debutalbum from Sweden_ Out since 28th October More under www_purelegend-records_com THE EMBODIED from Sweden with their self-titled debut are the next release on our sub-label Pure Legend Records and this time it's in a more modern direction_ Before this, the quintet from Jönköping had released a demo-EP („Relativity Fade", 2006) and a single („Chapter One", 2008) on their own_ The ten songs are offering an innovative mixture of Melodic, classic Heavy and Death Metal with permanent used, expressive clean-vocals (growl-parts are only used very slightly in the background)__ Songs like the more mid-speed tune "Born From Shadows" show that the band is able to move safely in calmer waters, while the guitar-riffs on "Flawless" are causing comparisons to At The Gates and old In Flames_ "The Embodied" was produced together with Ex-King Diamond-guitarist Andy La Rocque in Sonic Train Studios_ He also recorded a solo for the song "Heaven Burns Tonight"_ THE EMBODIED prove it: Also more modern Metal can be released through a traditional-orientated label_ Try it out!
