Artist Profile:Independent recording artists: Ivory Tower Project (aka: ITP) is a new breed of 'old school' rockers. Music for those who love New Classic Rock. Webster's definition of "ivory tower" is: a figurative place of mental widthdrawal from reality.
Artist History:
ITP was conceived by NY Metro songwriters: Johnny Jace and Mark Regula. NYC veteran guitarist: Tony Novarro was then recruited and it was Novarro and Regula that had formed the core of ITP. As band members left, they were replaced by the NY Metro area's finest studio musicians that transcended Ivory Tower from being a band into a Project.
ITP's 4 song EP: "Red Hot" was released internationally and has received rave reviews and air play on over 290 radio stations in 23 countries worldwide. The single: "Burning" charted #1 on MP3Songs.com: Adult Contemporary Rock Chart for both the USA and later in England.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Independent recording artists: Ivory Tower Project (aka: ITP) received from internet station: Radio Gets Wild in England the 2005 Gold Artist Award. Radio Gets Wild holds an annual competition for Independent Recording Artists. They make an evaluation of an artists CD, music quality, lyric content as well as website content and inter-activeness. They award artists on 3 levels: Bronze, Silver & Gold. ITP has received from RGW the 2005 Gold Artist Award. As a result, group leader: Mark Regula participated in a live cross-Atlantic voice interview with DJ: Dee Chapman and guest artist: Gaz Reynolds.
