Artist History
I began this musical journey only a few years ago-at the beginning of the new millenium...literally. New millenium...new road...why not? I decided to do something I'd only dreamed of and, although it was a bit scary, I took the plunge; never expecting more than to just fulfill my small need for music involvement. With that, I began to teach myself to play keyboards and piano by ear. A bit later, I bought a flute off of e-Bay and relearned it by ear as well.
While traveling down this new road, I made a lot of choices; some good others not as good, but I don't regret any of them and learned all that I could. That is what makes us who we are. For the most part, the music I wrote and continue to write is to benefit my need to compose. It helps me to relax and destress at the end of the day. I was really afraid to let others hear it, with the exception of some relatives and friends. Like most of us, I didn't want to be rejected or have someone criticize "my baby." What I learned from taking it further was that people will listen to what they like; to what moves them; to what touches them in some way. The review doesn't matter. The most important thing is that I can make a difference in someone's life. If sharing my music is a positive influence and helps someone overcome a bump in their life's journey, then I have already accomplished a first step towards making the world a better place. And if all of us could take that first step...help someone else...I wonder what would happen...
I truly believe that ANYTHING is possible for dreams are only dreams until WE make them a reality.

Contract Signed with Chi-Lin Music International

Just signed a contract with Chi Lin Music International for a 14 song CD of music to be distributed in Taiwan!! I am so honored that they believe in my music enough to share it with their audience there. I hope it's received well!! Both songs on this site are part of the album to be released there. |

My new album "The Journey To the Places In My Soul" will be released March 22, 2006!! It features more original instrumental music, but now I have also added another of my many voices, the flute. This CD is all about change; our initial dreaming and how that dream changes as we journey though life. It features a lot more up-tempo tunes and a variety of arrangements. It's definately more "me". Yes! 2006 is upon us and that means that, not only am I 40 years young, but it also means that I have a 4th album coming out in March...and I should say tentatively. I hope that all of you reach the goals you set for yourselves this year and that you continue to reach for the stars and chase the dreams that you may have felt that you couldn't before. My new venture is in TV!! I'll have a show airing on cable television (locally) beginning January or February. Check out my home site to get a good laugh and to be inspired. |
