Singer-songwriter Jennifer Daniels lives in a rustic cabin on top of Lookout Mountain in Georgia where her earthy folk rock is born. Jennifer's music springs from Celtic roots but is "regional" in the best sense of the word - it shows a connection to the land that inhabits her songs. Performing Songwriter describes the South that she writes of as "the Flannery O' Conner and William Faulkner South. Darkly romantic, hot and humid, haunted and gothic. This is music that seems to have grown slowly from some rich, dark soil." Her vocal phrasing is reminescent of a young Joni Mitchell, or "a more folkish Celtic-sounding Sarah McLachlan." But Jennifer's distinct style and impressive vocal range go beyond comparison and genre. Her music is unique.

A Thrill of Hope -
Christmas CD is finished - Ready to preorder! We've just finished recording and mixing our Christmas CD! You can preorder to reserve your copy now. I know. It's as if Christmas truly has come early, isn't it? The CD is entitled A Thrill of Hope, one of the phrases from 'O Holy Night.' It has 6 songs total, 4 standards and 2 originals. It's not your usual happy, frenetic holiday CD, because I need meaningful and calm CDs at that time of year. It's got an intimate, personal energy to it, a bit of humor, and even some dark and creepy aspects (but in a good way). More info
