Image: Larry Brewer is an award winning songwriter, accomplished guitarist and vocalist, and the founding member of the rock group, The Windows. Larry is a celebrated artist who has been performing for over thirty years, and is still going strong.

Born in Chicago, Illinois on May 21, 1954, Larry became interested in music at a very early age. “I remember listening to my Mom’s Elvis and Buddy Holly records while my Dad played records by Hank Williams, Ray Price, and George Jones.” Then in 1964 everything changed. “I saw The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show and it made such an impact on my life! I think from that moment I knew I wanted to be a musician.”

Larry has recorded several albums; most notably The Windows “Runnin’ Alone” which was recorded in 1987 at Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee, with renowned engineer/producer, John Hampton. This album was re-released on CD in 2001 to the delight of Windows fans and includes two bonus tracks that were not on the original album release.

After 15 years of fronting The Windows, performing countless shows, and sharing the stage with The Beach Boys, Badfinger, Peter Frampton, Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, and many others, Larry went solo in 1996 - recording his first solo CD entitled, “Traveling at the Speed of Life”. His song “Hello, Hello”, which was awarded Pop Song of the Year in 1983 by the Jackson Mississippi Music Awards, was re-recorded and is included on “..........Speed of Life”. His most recent solo CD is entitled “World Going Crazy” and was released in 2003. Larry is currently working on new original material for an upcoming CD.
