J.A. and R.A. Richard are, together, The Poor Richards, and though seldom the twain shall meet, they nevertheless combine their considerable songwriting prowess to conjure up the kind of irrestistible power pop you thought had gone extinct. Working in their separate studios they FTP their way to multitrack nirvana, with meaty, beaty, big and bouncy tunes about kids, God, love, death, and phone calls from rock and roll legends.
