"In the Spirit of Resilient Optimism" RadioIndy Review
POSTED BY: radioindy POSTED ON: 29 Jan 2007 07:26 PM
"In The Spirit of Resilient Optimism" is an impressive modern rock EP. Evil Beaver's music on this EP is very tight and the sound is powerful. Throughout the EP the band uses changes and breaks within songs to very effectively add dynamics to the songs. "Honey Pump" and "Cracked," which take a listener from soft verses to power-packed choruses, are excellent examples of this. Evie's lead bass licks provide an original sound to the music. If you enjoy hard-driving, powerful modern rock music, you will enjoy this EP. Pick up a copy today!
