Artist History
Randolph Walker plays the harmonica unlike anyone else. Walker achieves a rich, pure, clear sound that has been compared to both a solo violin and a human voice. Accompanying himself on acoustic guitar, Walker performs original compositions as well as traditional melodies of the Appalachian Mountains and British Isles. Many of these tunes appear on his CD, "Across the Blue Mountains." Reviewing the album in the Roanoke Times, Seth Williamson wrote, "Randy Walker is genuinely talented as a writer of appealing melodies...One instrumental, 'Martha,' has one of the most delicately lovely new melodies this reviewer has heard in many a year."
