Simplicity. This word in itself describes the entire song.  I wrote Angel in 2002 documenting my first meditational experience that lead to a revelation.  At this point in my life, I was seeking out answers to the overwhelming amount of questions I had compiled in my mind about certain truths of the world and religion, distortions and “new” discoveries.  While researching answers, I became lost in translation and even more confused than I was to begin with.  I began to question my own faith and actions to include why I do the things I do and why others do what they do that adversely affect me, in a round about way.  I held a grudge against them and even myself upon learning these “truths.”  I was flat out confused and began to justify cause for walking a stray path.  I finally fell to my knees.  During this prayer and meditation session I was visited by an angel who taught me the all so simple truth to look inward for answers.  She said to live life from the heart and don’t complicate my mind with worldliness.  The wind will bring what may but tear down these spiteful curtains that blind both your brothers and sisters.  Just live in Jah love while he calls.  As Jesus walked the earth, his true message was so simple but he had to say the same things in many different ways just to appease the complicated minds. He used simple parables as to teach school children to simplify. Such is the same. So many are vexed and so was Solomon in all his wisdom. Like a calculator with superimposed #'s, you press = and you are even more confused when the button to press all along is C. Clear.  We spend all of our time searching outward for solutions and casting blames for our problems and by doing this, we miss the blessings that are right in front of our eyes.  Know yourself, search within, and love yourself and others unconditionally (Agape), give Jah the praise.  Again I submit to you the word… Simplicity.
