Artist History
The Story Of is the musical collaboration between five friends. We were raised and cultured in the midwest, banded together in Athens, OH, and currently reside in the sunshine of Austin, TX. We hold tight our Appalachian roots, artistic spirit and an admiration for the world around. We try to live our lives sustainably, enjoy a DIY mentality, and locally brewed beer. Being conscious of the political theater afoot in our world, our music doesn't try to hide our sense of concern. We write our songs with this mindset and hope that they can empower and energize the people.
