Paul Phillip’s “Tonight,” is an impressive collection of R&B tracks. The CD features excellent song structure, compelling lead melodies, groovy beats and mature, well-developed lyrics. Moreover, Paul’s silky smooth timbre is irresistible! “September” delivers a great musical hook, a rockin’ electric guitar solo, and a heavenly arrangement of background and harmony vocals. “You’re The One” opens with an incredible acoustic guitar arrangement and tells a heart-wrenching story of genuine love. Song after song, Paul manages to transfer his passion to his listeners. Putting the finishing touches on “Tonight” is production that discovers a brilliant balance between Paul’s emotion-invoking melodies and contagious musical grooves! Fans of Marvin Gaye and Luther Vandross will undoubtedly find themselves hooked on “Tonight”! -Xavier P. and RadioIndy.comCheck out Paul Phillips's music on RadioIndy.com with link to purchase and links to popular sites |
