READY! There’s no other way to put it for this ‘southern-born’ lyricist; a native of Houston’s ‘Sunnyside’ neighborhood, 3 has honed his skills to become a ‘one man show’. A former member of the trio rap act T-I-E, he completed the transition from ‘Third Degree’ to ‘3Bubble’. 3 grew up in Houston during the 80’s living on both the North and South sides of the city. Being exposed to life on both sides of the city, 3 witnessed many pitfalls and victories of everyday Houstonians. In his search to seek the proper balance of ‘growing up’ in the hood, 3 managed to stumble on his top-notch flow while creating music tracks and listening to Phat Pat, Lil’ KeKe, The Lox, Biggie, 8Ball, Talib Kweli, and many others. He started rockin’ da’ mic in 1999 with his homies, but because of his determination and self-proclaimed destiny, he set sail to begin his solo career. During the Summer of 2004, 3 changed his alias (due to others using the alias Third Degree) and connected with C10 and A1 to produce his first LP; STRESSWORK. 3 is not only a rapper, he also demonstrates his production skills on the debut album. To date, he’s completed mix cds and performed on various rap shows; including the Texas Beach Party, held in Galveston, TX. Some say he is slated to become one of the hottest to ever touch the mic. He exudes an humble and gentlemanly demeanor, but when it’s time to perform you witness the fury that he possesses. Although his love for the music seems to be at a climax, he quickly states that he’s only beginning……ALREADY!!
