The Enchanted Highway is a celebration of moments in which Mary Beth has felt a close connection to the spirit. Whether experiencing the miracle of the birth of her boys, encountering the kindness of a stranger biking along the West coast of Ireland, visiting with a Navaho woman in her hogan on the reservation in New Mexico, or bumping into an old friend, they are sacred moments, glimmers of a divine presence in her life.
These songs are Mary Beth's stories, and she believes we all have them, strung together like the pearls on a necklace.
"When we stop to appreciate the love that holds us all together, our differences melt away and all that remains is harmony and beauty."
Classified in the Country/Celtic/Folk genre, this CD is also influenced by the beauty of nature found on the road in some of the most beautiful State and National Parks in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and New Mexico. As a Nurse, Mary Beth has always believed in the power of music as a tool for wellness. The CD "The Enchanted Highway" is a great one for the road or if you are ready to unwind.

Mary Beth's influences are an eclectic group including Joni Mitchell, Shawn Colvin, Mary Chapin Carpenter Nanci Griffith, David Wilcox, the late Kate Wolf and Eva Cassidy, Mary Black, Solas, Alison Krauss, Patty Larkin, Dan Fogelberg, Richard Thompson, Loreena McKennitt, and the open tunings and sounds of Celtic music of the British Isles, to name a few.
Local musicians who have inspired Mary Beth's music include Molly O'Brien, Dakota Blonde, Celeste Krenz, Wendy Woo, Sons and Brothers, John Chandler and so many other singer/songwriters.
"I have some wonderful front range musicians contributing their talents to this new CD including The infamous Hijito brothers (Ernie Martinez and Johnny Neill), Clay Kirkland on harmonica, Brian Hunter on Bass, Dave Schaper on mandolin and vocals, Molly Bennett on Irish Bodhran, Ron Jones on accordion, Mary Huckins and Don Pinnella from Dakota Blonde, and introducing Justin Doute on percussion and drums, Jan Rice on Native American Flute, and Tony Haas and Casey Hildebrand on Vocals.
