“Dreaming I’m Awake” by Brian Wingrove is an uplifting mix of electronic instrumental tracks. Memorable musical hooks and addictive grooves form the foundation of each of these tunes. The musicianship on the CD is high, especially Brian's keyboard work. Furthermore, Brian uses a lot of creativity in the keyborad sounds that he uses. Many of the tracks are well-suited for backing tracks for movies or presentations. The CD also is a good listen as backing music while you work. The jazz flavored “Feel So Free” showcases an unforgettable lead melody delivered by the lovely sound of the sax. “Rain Dance” strategically utilizes the natural sounds of rain and develops into a very laid back tune with a romantic vibe. Track after track, Brian demonstrates his skill in composing and producing creative instrumentals that uplift and inspire.
