Troxem from California

Artist History

While a student at UCLA, singer/songwriter/guitarist Tibor Ouyang formed the hard rock band 'Skin and Bones', with fellow songwriter and guitar virtuoso Wesley Flores, rock solid drummer Dave Haller, and talented Jeannette Wolf on bass. Skin n Bones toured North Hollywood and the Valley Club scene playing venues like FM Station, Mancini's, Lady Jane's, Bourbon Square and The Way during their tenure. They appeared on San Fernando Valley television as a featured artist on the show "Georgetta Presents". After Skin n Bones officially dissolved in a cesspool of insoluble subdermal nodules in 2012, Tibor Ouyang and Dave Haller transformed into 'Troxem'. TROXEM has been described as "a band that puts an emphasis on the musical, melodic and lyrical content." Troxem has been awarded the Gold Artist Award on RadioIndy and has an ever-expanding worldwide fanbase.

When Two Worlds Collide

Best Guitars in Rock, week of 23Oct2006 Best Lyrics in Rock, week of 23Oct2006 --at GarageBand.com Change is inevitable but that doesn't mean we ignore the past or disregard the blood, sweat and tears that laid the foundation for the present. Those who seek to lead us into the future must first learn from the past and walk with humility in the shadows of the giants while paying homage to those who have forever enriched our lives and enlarged our vision of the world. American music is the culmination of longsuffering inspiration and it's spirit is shared by many. Hats off to those who understand it's legacy and carry on it's tradition in the face of polluting influences seeking to undermine our great heritage by invading our sensibilities with uninspired bantering full of negativity and attitude but devoid of essential musical elements like melody and thoughtful arrangement. They underestimate the strength of our Spirit and our ability to preserve and perpetuate the essential elements of our culture. I know I'll be keeping the faith alive!
