DEZISHUN Past & Present In a world of constant competition and challenges we as a people are taught that in order to excel in life, we must approach every endeavor whole-heartedly. Several years ago two brothers Fred "Baddest Dee" and Larry "Zipp-Luvv"; from Washington, DC. via Monrovia, Liberia; contemplated entering the music industry. While student at Eastern Connecticut State University in Wilimantic, CT. both brothers set out on a mission to pursue the music world with a passion. They named themselves DEZISHUN  The long wait is over and the time is now for DEZISHUN. Working under their own production and record company, DEZISHUN proceed to estonish their audiences and fans as they travel their musical journey. The songs they write, produce and sing, stems from their everyday experiences and from life in general. The multi-cultural nature of East Orange, NJ. has allowed them to develop a love and appreciation for music of many different origins. They believe that music is a cultural expression and the most important factor of their entire music career is how people from all walks of life perceive the messages, melodies and production within their music. The most favorite saying of DEZISHUN is "Some are trees and some are branches, we are the roots" meaning that the musicians and artists of this era are spin-offs and copycats of each others music and style. DEZISHUN is original as artists and the music they write and produce are innovative and ground rooted. In the past decade, DEZISHUN has released a collection underground projects, which they've sold in the streets and in nightclubs whenever and wherever they performed. They have also received a substantial amount of air-play on the CHR format radio station WILI (I-9 |
