"32nd Street" by Dave Nelson and the 32nd Street Quintet is a Modern Jazz album put together by a group of industry professionals. It was recorded at the famous Systems 2 studios in Brooklyn, so your ears will be certainly pleased with the quality of this album. The arrangements are very creative, free from, and will very much entertain your mind. Subtlety is the key with this album. Every instrument and every line is heard. The horns in particular sound very good, especially in the title track "32nd Street". Crisp and clean for sure. All of the musicians, as expected, are top-notch and share the same passion and understanding of their roles in the sound. If you like Coltrane and Miles Davis, you'll like this group of guys.
