| The Woodhouse Band began playing music for local events in Northern Virginia in 2004. Their repertoire consists of tunes from traditional American and Irish music traditions. These tunes consist of reels, jigs, minstrel banjo pieces, and early blues/ragtime. It's refreshing to hear music from earlier times carried forward into the present day, where it still moves listeners with its lasting value.
