In God we trust, in God we need

Why do they want to take that from me?

No ten commandments on the Government walls

It seems to offend some who call

No prayers in school, no talk of God

The Pledge of Allegiance they say is just wrong

They tell me this, they tell me that

I got something I want to tell them

I don’t want them, I don’t need them

Changing the way that it’s always been

 I don’t’ want them, I don’t need them

Changing the way that America lives

What’s happened to the land of the free?

When you can’t even call it a Christmas tree

We were built “In God We Trust”

Have we all forgotten what God has done

He blessed them then and he’s blessing us now

Are we going to shut the door on him now?

They tell me this they tell me that
