That’s the caressing sound that Atlanta-based vocalist, Liz Hope offers listeners with her melodic gift of song. With a combination of beauty, harmony, and talent, the Columbus, Ohio native has always dazzled audiences with entertainment. Being the product of military parents, Liz has lived in Hokkaido, Japan and Guam, and after a former career as a model and airline stewardess, she has performed in such places as the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Jamaica, Hong Kong, and Hawaii.
Musically, she was influenced by the big bands sounds, jazz, R&B and gospel. She was once known for making music with her husband, saxophonist, flautist and “jazz man” Paul Hope, a Mobile, Alabama native who played in the Gulfport area bands and opened for James Brown, Bobby Blue Bland and the like. He played in the Special Service Band during the Vietnam Era.
The two recorded their debut album “High Plateaus,” which blended a sound of gospel, jazz and R&B, and their sophomore album, “Power of Love” a fusion of soulful love ballads and upbeat jazzy instrumentals. “Power of Love” was the couple’s last album together due to the untimely death of Paul Hope in1998. But with their same vision, Liz continues as a soloist and has her latest project, “Here’s Love” featuring sensational song titles, such as the breezy tune “Smooth Sailing” and the dynamic, sultry “EscaLady.”
Accompanied by the musical stylings of Doc Samuels, former lead singer and guitarist of 70’s funk group, Ripple, the album is musically propelled by Liz’s electrifying band. With the rhythmic percussionist, Kevin Wake on Congas and powerful saxophonist, Ryan Kilgore, Liz’s sound soars to new heights and continues to be a crowd pleaser. The “ESCALADY” herself is back to give audiences all her love and more sweet and soulful music.

 "Here's Love" by Liz Allen Hope is an inspirational smooth jazz album driven by Liz's soulful R&B vocals. Together with her saxophonist/flautist husband Paul Hope, Liz brings you a classic contemporary sound and soothing vocal melodies. The arrangements are complementary to Liz's outstanding and soothing vocals, and very relaxing. With a band of seasoned veterans, this album is truly solid. The professional production allows the fine instrumentation to nicely cut through in the recording. Highlights are "You Can't Run From Love" with a great hook and sweet backing vocals. "Escalady" is not only Liz's nickname, it is a grooving little Samba. "I've Got Something For You" features some beautiful guitar work, a strong vocal performance and a catchy chorus.
