Emerging as one of the “New Breed” of Flutists to emerge in the 21st century, Dr. David Klee’s performances are a rich mixture of both classical and jazz elements. After spending the first part of his life studying the flute which culminated with the Doctor of Musical Art’s Degree in Flute performance, Dr. Klee went on to learn and study jazz by performing and touring in over thirty-nine states and the Bahamas. Now Dr. Klee is ready to share his musical talents with a new generation of sophisticated audiences. A composer as well as a performer, Dr. Klee is one but a very select group of flutists that compose all of their own music. His music is both pleasing and tantalizing for the senses. His audiences are always memorized by his dazzling technical mastery and emotional display of the flute and are often left with wanting more. Because of Dr. Klee’s extensive background and training on the flute, he is totally free to make music, to elevate to a higher level.
