Singer/Songwriter Preston Camp, Jr., A Country Music Award Winning Songwriter & BMI Nashville Recorded Writer debuts on Red Note Records with his Cd titled " PRESTON CAMP, JR. Anywhere, Texas. Produced by J David Leonard, once named Songwriter Of The Year by The Tennessee Songwriters Association, it includes such musical talents as Tommy Dodd on steel guitar, who among many of his credits played steel on Travis Tritts " Country Club " album. It also includes the bluesy vocals of Jennifer Ferren, Tom Wolf on Harmonica, Robert Taylor on Fiddle & J David Leonard on piano,acoustic guitar & electric guitar. Preston is a Graduate of The University Of Georgia, where he was a member of the UGA DAWGS Football Team. After graduating he played clubs, honky tonks & taverns in Georgia & Alabama. Then after spending time on the streets of Nashville's Music Row pitching songs & receiving encouragement from Greats such as Jerry Reed & Sonny Throckmorton, Preston settled in to a long stint at writing & compiled over 40 songwriting awards to his name. His songwriting awards include one of California's American Song Festival's Top Awards, numerous awards from the Nashville Songwriting Association International, numerous awards from the Atlanta Songwriters Association & The Georgia Music Industry Association. His songs and sound have been compared to the Legendary Kris Kristifferson and the outlaw sound of the Great Waylon Jennings. Timetraveler " is Singer/Songwriter Preston Camp,Jr's. second album release on Red Note Records.Preston's debut album "Anywhere, Texas " was Album of the Week on TEXAS RADIO the Netherlands and was on the Worldwide DJ Playlist in Australia, Germany, Scotland, Belgium, Italy, France, Austria, The Netherlands and more. It is filled with songs about drinkin', lovin' and the sometimes hard told stories of life with a mix of some songs with humor. Again, as in his debut album, J David Leonard, is found on guitar, piano, mandolin, organ and some cool harmony vocals. Tom Wolf is on harmonica, Robert Taylor on fiddle and Jennifer Ferren adds her beautiful harmony vocals again.
