A Denver based singer/songwriter, guitarist and producer, Jeffrey Harrison’s music incorporates introspective, narrative and confessional lyrics with blues, folk and rock sonic textures. Jeffrey has been compared to current popular artists such as David Gray, Pete Yorn and Ryan Adams as well as classic songwriters like Warren Zevon, Tom Petty and Jackson Browne.
Harrison is also well known for his fiery and passionate guitar work combining blues roots with melodic and harmonic improvisation in the mold of Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler.
Just released: Venus Sessions, a four song EP produced by Brian Vibberts. (Sinead O'Connor, Ben Folds Five, Foo Fighters). The CD features the single, "Gwendolyn" and the epic "Down From the Moon."

![]() Jeffrey Harrison’s latest release “Venus Sessions” is loaded with impressive contemporary rock music. Harrison sings up a storm with his melodic vocals and memorable lyrics. The album’s production is high-quality, as instruments are well-mixed with a cohesive sound. The harmonies on “Gwendolyn” add to the rhythmical lyrics of this delightful melody. The upbeat and energetic “Venus of Astoria” is embedded with great power chords and a chorus that’s sure to have listeners sing along. A slow rock ballad, “Down From the Moon” is a distinctive little treasure of artistic creativity as the ambient tone showcases Harrison’s versatility in playing softer styles of music. Listeners who are fans of Tom Petty or Neil Young won’t be disappointed when listening to Jeffrey Harrison’s “Venus Sessions.” -Diane and The RadioIndy.com Reviewer Team |
