Enter the helix and experience the powerfully inviting duo Mystic & Miranda -- a sultry sister act with a dynamic pop-based signature style, fused with sweet soul and a hint of the islands.
Widely known for their performance on their Juno/Much Music Video Award winning single “Thinkin’ About You”, these ladies have been enlisted as vocalists on record and live across many musical genres and generations. Notable collaborations include Maestro, Snow, Carlos Morgan, Eddie Bullen, JD Era, Ember Swift, Soul Stew and Parachute Club.
Mystic & Miranda embrace an independent approach to music creation, which they proudly endorse in the Montreal-produced documentary film What is INDIE?, (directed by Dave Cool) which has caught the attention of CNN.com, Newsweek Magazine and Canada's National Film Board. Crafting prolific songs that often step outside of the stereotypical restraints of R&B, their polished lyrics, coloured with unique melodies and crowned with pure harmonies, has enabled them to set their own standard of quality crossover tunes.
With their highly anticipated EP finally here, Mystic & Miranda feel a strong sense of accomplishment to have produced a work on their own terms. Inside The Helix celebrates their growth as artists as well as young women and is a work that is sure to inspire and stir emotions but above all, it will give you a taste of what makes these ladies sizzle!

R&B gets an upbeat facelift with the fresh sounds of Mystic & Miranda. The duo’s latest album, “Inside the Helix,” sounds like what Toni Braxton would if she threw in some hip-hop. The hip-hop style is actually the coolest thing about Mystic & Miranda, as what could be just another female fronted R&B disc, is danceable and grooving at the same time. “Crying Game” features some of their finest vocal performances on the album. Together, they complement one another’s voices quite well without overstepping each other. The musicality is also a treat as listeners get some good chunks of hip-hop beats and melodies on songs like “Fallin’ (Heart is Callin&rsquo
