New CD release from Celeste
POSTED BY: SongsForCharlie POSTED ON: 14 Jun 2009 01:40 PM

The title track of my new CD project, "The Tide", was inspired by Pastor Joel Osteen of The Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. During one of his broadcasts, he told a story of a boat that was stranded on the shore and that we can be assured that the tide always comes back.

Over the past fifteen years, I have written several inspirational tunes, but only recorded very few. Joel’s words of wisdom motivated me to gather those songs together into a collection, now known as “The Tide”. This includes inspirational as well as contemporary Christian songs such as “If You Believe in Me”, “Dear Life”, “Forgiveness” and “Is God Listening?” Added to the collection are two songs nominated for a Pat Weaver Award for contributions to television, “A Home Run”, nominated in 1995 and “Take A Little Step”, nominated in 1997.

Samples of two songs from “The Tide” are here on this page, or you can visit:
www.MySpace.com/thetidealwayscomesback and listen to samples of 10 of the 12 tunes on the album.

“The Tide” will soon be available on both CDBaby and iTunes and sells for $15.97. To purchase a copy directly, email iSales@SongsForCharlieMusic.com. Please visit my website http://www.SongsForCharlieMusic.com for all the latest news and reviews.

I hope you enjoy “The Tide”. Thanks so much for your support and friendship!

Best wishes,
Celeste
