Gene Strandquist is a multi-talented musician, music teacher, and classical music composer based in Calgary, Canada. This album contains Beatle-esque and Dylan-esque tracks along with Latin and Traditional country sounds, currently being enjoyed by all age groups. Rangeland Rider is quickly becoming a theme song for the Calgary Stampede chuckwagon races. It is a fast-paced, highly motivating tune about a man's desire to be a contender in the greatest chuckwagon race ever – the Rangeland Derby. It features the voice of JOE CARBURY, legendary chuckwagon race announcer.
