BRAND NEW BRAIN are a rock band born in Ciudad Real (Spain), who released their first album "RESPIRA" (Breathe), independently, in February 2009. At the end of the year, the training that recorded the album was dissolved and currently Luis García de León (founder of the group) is the only who is continuing the project. BNB continues... the band has just released an acoustic album, "El paso del tiempo" (The passage of time), while working on the consolidation of new band members.
BRAND NEW BRAIN es una banda de rock nacida en Ciudad Real (España), que editó su primer álbum "RESPIRA", de forma independiente, en febrero de 2009. Lo presentaron durante todo el año, logrando ser uno de los ganadores del PRADO ROCK 2009 (donde tocaron junto a Skizoo, Savia, Uzzhuaia y Medina Azahara) y ser seleccionados para tocar en los concursos EXPLOSI´N LOCAL 4! Y UCLMUSIK 09'.
Al terminar el año se disolvió la formación que grabó el disco y únicamente Luis García de León (guitarra, actual cantante y fundador del grupo) continuó el proyecto. Tras varios meses de espera se incorporaron Jesús León y Eduardo García, como nuevos bajo y batería, y actualmente el grupo trabaja en su próximo álbum eléctrico.
Mientras tanto, Luis acaba de terminar la grabación de un EP acústico que saldrá próximamente bajo el nombre "El paso del tiempo", con 6 temas (3 nuevos y otros 3 del primer disco, regrabados en formato acústico para la ocasión).

Brand New Brain releases an excellent Acoustic Rock song, “El paso del tiempo-Single.” This song marks a time when the band was in disarray so an acoustic version was created. The song title, translated, means the passage of time, is sung with strong lead vocals that deftly sing the emotive lyrics with appealing style. This song, which is sung in Spanish, has an edgy Rock flair that is similar to bands such as Alice In Chains or Pearl Jam. The relaxed acoustic instrumentation complements the expressive lyrics with a free flowing rhythm. It also shows the talent these musicians have to offer as they take a song and give it a fresh, new stylish approach. Estamos entusiasmados de poder anunciar que Luis ha concluido la grabación del nuevo álbum acústico "El paso del tiempo"!!
Contendrá 6 canciones, con una duración aproximada de 26 minutos... 3 totalmente nuevas y otras 3 del primer álbum "Respira", regrabadas en formato acústico.
Decir que el álbum cuenta con la colaboración de Alfonso Ascarza a los teclados (con quien Luis ha ofrecido anteriormente los conciertos acústicos del grupo), en 3 de las canciones...
Os avanzamos ya el set-list del disco... muy pronto habrá más noticias!!
