CLINT CRISHER National Recording Artist Breaker-One-Nine! CLINT CRISHER is the new croupier of funk-dance rock-a-palooza dealing out hit after hit with impressionable well-crafted lyrics wrapped around crisply textured vocals that reflect his soulful nature and oh-so southern trailer park ways. Once on stage, CLINTs youthful, lithe, and toned body comes alive & gyrating in a manner not unlike that of a young Elvis Presley. Possessing that special gleam in his eye, CLINT CRISHER has a fierce and seductive stage presence that will grip even the most discriminating of audiences. CLINT CRISHER and foray into the world of music erupted at age seven deep in the Florida everglades when he emerged as the front man in an alternative rock band by winning a pencil fight with the band and the drummer. It was not pretty, but not long after that CLINT CRISHER, as lead tenor and student director, lead his Florida-based Madrigal Singers to Westminster Abbey in London, England to perform for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and before members of Parliament-By jove! I do believe CLINTs got the Funk that makes you dance! Skilled in the guitar and trombone and just about anything he can wrap his hand around, CLINT CRISHER has since performed in the most celebrated venues in America such as the Crobar-Miami (headliner), the Web-NYC, Webster Hall-NYC (headliner), the 9:30 Club-DC, and Club Platinum-DC in addition to performing at outdoor concerts in the Nations capital in front of 250,000 people and at numerous festivals across the United States. CLINT CRISHER also performed at the Billboard Music Summit in 2002 (after signing a single to Cetacean Records) and at XM Satellite Radios One Millionth Subscriber party introduced by Quincy Jones and a host of other celebrities.CLINT CRISHER is, however, getting it done on both sides of the Atlantic. In late 2002, his song Perfect World soared into the Top 10 on the UK MP3 Top100 chart, climbing as high as No. 7 without the benefit of Grammy Award-winning producers Wayne Jobson and Neil Case (who are currently producing CLINT CRISHER) behind him-a testament to his songwriting abilities. In late 2007, his song Run Baby Run went straight to No.1 on the Top MP3 Top 100 chart and was released by his company Crisher Entertainment. Not only is CLINT CRISHER a true professional on stage as well as in the studio, CLINT CRISHER is a major star in the making and is setting the dance clubs on fire with the 2007 release of Spotlight The Remixes which was promoted by Bobby Shaw who has won BEST INDEPENDENT DANCE PROMOTER at the WMC 2007 and 2006. Bobby Shaw, and Clint hit billboard with the 5 breakout for dance club play. Hey Guys! I'm giving you the 411 on Midem 2008. Artists, Managers Dominate MIDEM Debates Artists and managers took center stage yesterday as MIDEM pushed on into its second day. Peter Gabriel and U2 manager Paul McGuinness were the big drawcards, assembling full-houses for their respective stints on the trade fair's podium. Qtrax's 'Major' Misstep Qtrax—the free, ad-supported, "legal" P2P service that launched at MIDEM yesterday—apparently isn't as ready for prime time as it claims. The company claimed it had licensing agreements with all four major record labels, when in fact it has none. WGA Grants Interim Deal to Grammys The deal means that material for the show will be written under a Writer's Guild contract, in effect giving the union's blessing to the awards show despite the ongoing three-month-old writer's strike. No Summer Flight For Zeppelin Don't expect to see Led Zeppelin on the road near you this summer. The current incarnation of the veteran rock act has no plans to play live -- until at least after September, says guitarist Jimmy Page. Sides Chosen In Royalty Tussle Music publishers, the record labels and digital music distribution outlets began a three-way legal wrestling match over just how much songwriters and the publishing houses should get paid for digitally delivered music. Sweden To Charge Pirate Bay In Copyright Case Sweden plans this week to charge the people running Pirate Bay, one of the world's most visited Web sites, with being accessories in breaking copyright law. Pirate Bay helps Web surfers share copyrighted music and film files, which is illegal in many countries, including Sweden. EMI Christian Music, PassAlong Team For Service EMI Christian Music Group has teamed with PassAlong Networks on the launch of a new digital music service focused on Christian music. I was looking through your website and other events, and thought Clint Crisher would be a great fit in most. Clint has such a positive turnout where ever he plays. I know he enjoys most cities because of the great response he get from the audience and all the amazing feedback on MySpace and his message boards. I truly expect a full crowd when he comes to play any venue. Clint recently played Tuesday night and brought in over 300 people. I know he will be able to bring the crowd any night you request him to perform since he is currently being played in all over the world with his Billboard Dance Hit "Spotlight".
