Esto comenzó en la ciudad de Chicago, IL en el 2007 cuando Flavio y Lupe (Guadalupe Castrejón) decidieron compartir sus talentos musicales.  Para eso contaban también con el apoyo de Jorge Garza acompañándolos con el acordeón.  Después de algunos meses de trabajo en las canciones, hubo la necesidad de encontrar nuevos talentos.  La presencia de Miguel Navor en el bajosexto fue muy bienvenida, pues igual que a los demás, se le dio la libertad de desarrollar su talento.  Después la llegada de Gabriel Navor fue muy notable, pues también trajo muy buenas ideas, y con su talento tocando el bajo eléctrico, había la necesidad de integrarlo a la agrupación.  No ha sido tan fácil pues Flavio, Miguel y Gabriel tenían que viajar desde Nashville, TN a la ciudad de Chicago cada fin de semana para lograr su objetivo que con tanto trabajo por fin se cumplió.  Y se ha cumplido el sueño, y ha sido gracias a la dedicación y esfuerzo de todos.

Y es así como nace el estilo diferente Flavio y Sus Cómplices--cantándole al amor, a su pueblo, y a su gente, para llegar a tu corazón y quedarse para siempre.  ¡Disfruta su música!

Flavio Martinez
Nació en el bellísimo estado de Hidalgo, México donde dio sus primeros pasos en la vida, donde cantó su primera canción, donde escuchó las primeras notas musicales de su abuelo tocando el violín, donde su gente lo espera.  Flavio Martínez empezó desde muy pequeño a escribir canciones.  Su pasión por la música era tanta que decidió emigrar en busca de oportunidades.  Con el tiempo, se dio cuenta que no era tan fácil y que tenia que luchar para lograr su sueño.  Se abrió camino y empezó a trabajar con diferentes agrupaciones en el estado de Texas.  Después de varios años, no conforme con lo que había logrado, decidió emigrar a diferentes estados para luego quedarse en el estado de Tennessee.  Conoció talentosos músicos y gente del medio que se interesaron en su talento, y fue ahí donde tuvo la oportunidad de grabar su primer disco "Locos Enamorados" producido por entropy64.  Ahora es el director de Flavio y Sus Cómplices, y su meta es llegar hasta tu corazón con su música inigualable, original y siempre cantándole al amor]]> flvmrt Wed, 31 Dec 2008 19:21:51 +0100 "Mi Nueva Razon" by Flavio y Sus Complices (Latin Artist from Tennessee(TN)) http://www.radioindy.com/bands/4737

"Mi Nueva Razon" is a lively traditional Mexican album brought to you by Flavio y Sus Complices. Right off the bat you will experience an energetic calmness from this album courtesy of Flavio's songbird voice and the delicate precision of the musicians behind him. This is a feel good album for sure, so expect smiles all around when you spin this one. The song writing and arranging are definitely a standout on this album. There are really nice melodies and harmonies in the vocals. The instrumentation is very quirky and plays off the lyrical line well. The album sounds great and focuses on the matter of highlighting the entertainment factor in the music. Highlights include the opener "Tu Siempre Seras," which has a nice intro, and when the vocals kick in, you know right away that your journey through a fun album has begun. The title track "Mi Nueva Razon" is another good one, with a nice melody and a sensitive side.
