FazeBlaze's rapping is well-synched to the beat and uses excellent pitch to deliver powerful lyrical messages about life and God. The guitar work and synthesizers are impressive and provide creative backing music. One of our favorite tracks is "Where Angels Dare to Go," which has a very nice backing synthesizer mix and a memorable chorus. Tracks such as "Warrior" tell powerful stories about how God resurrected a troubled young man. "Mustard Seed" highlights FazeBlaze's screeching lead guitar work. You've got to hear the very cool child vocal mix in the chorus of "How Shall They Hear Without a Preacher." This CD is strong evidence that FazeBlaze is an artist to watch in the world of Christian rap. The messages in the CD speak of relationships or uplifting life improvement in a refreshing manner without all the profanity usually found in rap/hip-hop. The backing music is creative and interesting. For example, "Negro Romeo" includes a very clean keyboard groove that drives the song. "Once More" is a catchy track with an infectious beat and a memorable keyboard countermelody during the chorus. The production and recording quality are very good. One of our favorite tracks is "The District," which kicks off with a cool guitar riff and has a very tight backing track that builds to a memorable chorus. Another favorite of ours is "SE," which has an excellent groove and a memorable and deep vocal part. If you enjoy raw, street-smart rap music you will enjoy this CD. Bigfoot is the real deal. The CD is big-label quality. Bigfoot's rapping is very tight with the groove of the music and has excellent tone inflection to accent the theme of the tracks. The CD is filled with excellent guest stars as well. Like the sexy voice of Kai on Push it Up and cool reggae vocals of Johny Montana on Ya Dead Boy. The Holy One reminds us of an excellent Eminem track. If you enjoy hot rap music, you will enjoy this CD. Pick up a copy today!"King Above Kings" by Kings of the City (Rap Artists from Tyler, Texas (TX)) "Kings Above Kings" is a CD full of excellent rap, hip-hop and R&B tracks by Kings of the City. The strength of this CD lies in the solid rapping backed by strong and creative beats. The CD is a demonstration that East Texas is the home of some tremendous rappers. This is excellent music for an excellent value, with 44 tracks for the price of a regular CD! Our favorite tracks are the hip-hop tracks, especially "Flipping-n-Holdin" and "Lonely." If you want to check out some of the fastest rapping you've every heard, and impressively still well-synched to the beat, check out "Tyl" or "I Don't Fool Wit You Cause You a Hoe." On the track "That Shawty" the tongue twisting rhymes would impress the fastest of lyricists everywhere. If you like fast, smooth and clever rhymes then you will enjoy DJ Zandre.
