"Indian Dusk" as the name suggests, takes one into an abstract journey of serenity and tranquility. This album is a meeting of Indian Classical music and different musical modes in a highly evocative form. It proves that in music, 'feeling' is supreme and also the ultimate destination to the listener.
"Indian Dusk" creates a variety of moods in a sweep that extends from Earnestness to the soulful Pining, from Euphony to an Eloquent conversation between vocals and the sax, and the Journey of the smooth and serene 'swarleen' which transports us to a caravenesque trail.
This album cleverly uses the basic notes on an Indian mode whilst building instrumentation upon it to highlight particular emotions.
A Magnificient Musical Work!!!

No stranger to the music scene, the talented keyboardist/composer Sanjay Wandrekar and his CD “Indian Dusk” will enlighten your musical senses through his artistic arrangements of World/Indian classical music. This album features sound textures that captures the essence of peace and tranquility. Wandrekar reveals his excellent taste in musical tonality on the song, “In Earnest,” as the instruments projects crisp clarity with intense precision. A touch of Jazz is heard on “A Bridge So Near” as the female vocal rises above the soft drum splashes and strong bass line with a nice dynamic balance. The sultry sax on the song, “Eloquent Conversation,” cascades around the strong and polished vocal while the sparkling piano plays a delicate riff. Relax and enjoy the thought provoking compositions of “Indian Dusk” as you will find this album filled with memorable peaceful music.
